Flourishing Webinar from NCCH

We were delighted to take part in a thought-provoking webinar hosted by the GP Special Interest Group for Creative Health  in partnership with the National Centre for Creative Health (NCCH). This session explored how creativity can foster clinical growth and connection from three unique perspectives:

Medical Education – Prof. Louise Younie
Clinician Wellbeing – Megan Tjasink
Student Perspective – Elle Tallgren

The discussion moved beyond conventional ideas of resilience, instead framing flourishing as an interconnected and ecological process—one that links our inner lives with cycles of loss, renewal, and growth. Inspired by Aristotle’s eudaimonia, we explored how purpose, values, and compassion shape both personal and professional wellbeing.

Through creative enquiry, growth, and art-making, we reflected on how the arts can enrich healthcare education and practice. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, highlighting the need for more creative approaches in clinical spaces.

A huge thank you to the organizers and participants for such a meaningful discussion!
